  • Na spektrometru HADES byla studována produkce e+e- párů ve srážkách C+C při 2 AGeV. Většina párů v oblasti invariantních hmot pod 0.15 GeV/c2 pochází z Dalitzovských rozpadů pi0 a eta mesonu. Tyto dva zdoje však pokrývají pouze 50% procent výtěžku v oblasti nad 0.15 GeV/c2 . Pozorovaný přebytek ve výtěžku je souladu s měřením experimentu DLS za předpokladu, že přebytek roste s energií svazku stejně rychle jako produkce pionů. Předběžné výsledky z analýzy C+C při 1AGeV podporují tento závěr. (cs)
  • We report on a measurement of electron pair production in C+C collision at an incident energy of 2 AGeV studied with the HADES spectrometer. The measured pair production probabilities span over five orders of magnitude from the pi0 Dalitz to rho/omega invariant mass region. Dalitz decays of pi0 and eta account for all the yield up to 0.15 GeV/c2, but for only about 50% above this mass. The excess yield is in agreement with the former DLS result if one assumes that it scales with beam energy like pion production. A preliminary analysis of C+C collisions at an incident energy of 1 AGeV, measured with the HADES detector, supports this scenario.
