  • V současné době používá většina pracovišť nukleární medicíny pro výpočet aplikované radioaktivity korekční faktory závislé pouze na hmotnosti pacienta, které upravují referenční hodnotu zjištěnou příslušným matematickým modelem (doporučení EANM). Tyto faktory naopak neberou v úvahu možnou závislost na fyzikálních vlastnostech aplikovaného radionuklidu, rozměrech pacienta, geometrie snímání, a ani závislost na druhu zobrazovací metody (PET, SPECT). V této práci bylo studováno jak výše zmíněné aspekty ovlivňují kvalitu scintigrafického obrazu. (cs)
  • Nowadays, almost every nuclear medicine department uses the EANM (European Association of Nuclear Medicine) pediatric task group recommendation. The task group suggested that activity given to patients should be calculated as a weight-dependent fraction of the activity in reference patient, irrespective of applied tracer. These correction factors are commonly used for gamma scintigraphy systems (SPECT) along with positron emission tomography (PET) and do not consider physical properties of PET and SPECT imaging, e.g. different photon energies, length and weight ratio of patient or sensitivity of imaging systems etc. Aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of these aspects on image quality of PET and SPECT imaging.
