  • The article with its subject matter falls within the field of payment systems in the domain of telematics services with a specific focus on the evaluation of driving style. The main objective and at the same time benefit is algorithmic design procedure for the evaluation of driving style for payment telematics systems which in turn allows for a comprehensive account of differences in driver behaviour and thus the probability of occurrence of an accident. The output of the algorithm is the projection amount of insurance. Proposed methodology utilizes the mathematical background of fuzzy-linguistic approximation, which is exact in the case of lack of knowledge and a large number of combinations of input parameters suitable tool. Input parameter values are replaced with the setting of partial production functions and expert rules that combine these functions properly. The process of evaluation of driving style was the thesis incorporated into a comprehensive algorithmic procedure. In essence, it is a set sequence of specific steps leading to the evaluation of components of driving, on the basis of which is the determination of the final fee.
