Description
  • The sensitivity and resolution of ultrasonic non-destructive testing is limited by the backscattering and electronic noise level commonly contained in the acquired ultrasonic signals. This paper compares algorithms used for efficient noise reduction in ultrasonic signals in A-scan. Algorithms based on the discrete wavelet transform and the Wiener filter are considered. All proposed methods are evaluated on simulated and true ultrasonic signals.

  • Citlivost a rozlišitelnost ultrazvukového nedestruktivního testování je omezena úrovní strukturního a elektronického šumu v signálu. V článku jsou porovnány vhodné algoritmy pro účinné potlačení šumu v ultrazvukovém signálu při A-zobrazení. Algoritmy jsou založené na diskrétní vlnkové transformaci a Wienerově filtraci. Všechny navržené metody jsou ověřeny na simulovaných a skutečných ultrazvukových signálech. (cs)
