  • This paper describes a method for the determination of dielectric constant of a biological tissue. For the dielectric measurement which should be nondestructive and noninvasive for the biological substance and broadband at frequency range of network analyzer is convenient a reflection method on an open ended coaxial line. A coaxial probe in the frequency range of network analyzer from 20 MHz to 2 GHz is under investigation and also a calibration technique and the behaviour of discrete elements in an equivalent circuit of an open ended coaxial line. Information about magnitude and phase of reflection coefficient on interface between a biological tissue and probe is modeled by aid of electromagnetic field simulator. The numerical modeling is compared with real measurements. Comparison is presented as well.

  • Poíspivek popisuje metodu ureení dielektrické konstanty biologických tkání. Pro tato dielektrická mioení, která by mila být nedestruktivní a neinvazivní pro biologickou tkáo a 1irokopásmová, je vhodná odrazná metoda na otevoeném konci koaxiálního vedení. K mioení je pou3ita koaxiální sonda, která je popsána náhradním dvouprvkovým obvodem. Informace o amplitudi a fázi koeficientu odrazu na rozhraní mezi biolog.tkání a senzorem je získána z modelování v simulátoru elektromagnetického pole. Toto numerické modelování je v záviru porovnáno s mioením na vektorovém anylzátoru v pásmu kmitoetu od 20 MHz do 2 GHz. (cs)
