  • Commercially used susceptors consisting of a lightly metallized active layer deposited on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film have been used as the most widespread type of active packaging systems in the food industry. The goal of our work was (i) to prepare the set of susceptor samples, (ii) to measure their optical (optical density), (iii) electrical properties (DC surface resistance) and microwave absorption (determination of the optimum thickness from the point of view of maximum microwave energy absorption).

  • Průmyslově vyráběné susceptory sestávající z tenké kovové vrstvy na PET substrátu jsou nejrozšířenějším aktivním obalovým systémem v potravinářském průmyslu. Cílem naší prace byla připrava souboru susceptorů, měření optických a elektrických vlastností a mikrovlnné absorbce aktivní rstvy susceptoru z hlediska optimalizace jeho tloušťky. (cs)
