Description
  • On the basis of a class of static models scheme of steady output observer has been developed suitable for plants with distributed parameters and delays, operating in conditions near their steady states. The modelling approach promotes an opportunity to identity most of state variables with available outputs and thus to provide more favourable conditions for model based fault detection. Due to weak dynamics of process operation the observer is based on the steady process model of the plant, while the observation dynamics sre provided in an artifical manner. An application to fault detection on a laboratory scale heating system demostrated.
