Description
  • Titanium is polymorphic element, whose crystallographic structure of the lattice is usually represented in two allotropic states. Atoms of base and alloying elements are arranged together in crystal lattice, creating two polymorphic modifications - high-temperature cubic body centred lattice (BCC), specific for beta phase, and low-temperature hexagonal closed packed (HCP), specific for alpha phase.
