  • Paper present first results of numerical simulations of a flow of simple non-Newtonian fluid in twodimensional channel. Model is based on generalization of Newtonian constitutive law using variable viscosity. Numerical simulation is based on finite-volume Mac-Cormack scheme. Flow simulations in stenosed blood vessel were compared for Newtonian and non-Newtonian approach.

  • Článek prezentuje výsledky numerických simulací proudění jednoduché nenewtonovské tekutiny v dvojrozměrném kanále. Model je založen na zobecnění Newtonovského konstitučního zákona užitím proměnné viskozity. Numerické řešení je založeno na Mac-Cormackově schématu ve formě konečných objemů. Byly srovnány simulace proudění krve ve zúžené cévě pomocí Newtonovského a nenewtonovského přístupu. (cs)
