  • To know an influence of a loading direction on a total knee replacement (TKR) is not important only for an operating surgeon and for a TKR producer. While development (Zach et al., 2005) of a more complex knee joint model including the TKR, we also stood in front of the question how could the position of the TKR influence contact pressures between a femoral component (FC) and a tibial plateau (TP). In this paper we publish the results of three models taking into account the possible variations of TKR %22implantation%22. Results of such analyses are at least necessary while assembling our incoming models containing real bone models (Zach et al., 2006).
