Description
  • The paper deals with a mathematical and numerical study of a flow in the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) over the Prague's agglomeration relief using a conventional k-epsilon turbulence model. The boundary conditions are evaluated through the wall function approach. The mathematical model is based on the system of full RANS equations considered in the conservative form and also written in the artificial compressibility modification. The numerical method relies on a finite volume discretization and on a multistage Runge-Kutta time integration.

  • Článek se zabývá matematickým a numerickým modelováním proudění v mezní vrstvě atmosféry nad reliefem pražské aglomerace s užitím konvenčního k-epsilon modelu turbulence. Hraniční podmínky při povrchu jsou realizovány pomocí stěnových funkcí. Matematický model je založen na plném systému RANS rovnic zapsaném v konzervativním tvaru a řešeném metodou umělé stlačitelnosti. Numerický model zahrnuje metodu konečných objemů a vícekrokovou Runge-Kuttovu metodu pro integraci v čase. (cs)
