Description
  • The flow of air through ducts is mainly controlled by throttling (except for the control of the performance of fans, where variating speed is used). All throttling elements are sources of aerodynamic noise. The most common throttling elements in air conditioning systems are butterfly (single-blade) or multiblade dampers. The main object of the present paper is an analysis of the working characteristic of a butterfly damper in a pipe with a circular section in terms of noise generation. Also possible improvements are sought of the working characteristics of dampers by a substantial reduction of the aerodynamic noise. Finally a successful solution is presented based on the cascade expansion of air in a duct achieving a reduction of noise by approx. 6 dB.

  • Průtok vzduchu potrubím je řízen převážně škrcením (kromě řízení výkonu ventilátorů, kde používáme regulaci změnou otáček). Všechny škrtící elementy jsou zdroji aerodynamického hluku. Nejběžnějšími škrticími elementy ve vzduchotechnických systémech jsaou jednolisté či vícelisté klapky. Hlavním tématem tohoto referátu je analýza pracovních charakteristik klapky v potrubí kruhového průřezu z hlediska generace hluku. Rovněž hledání možností zlepšení pracovních charakteristik klapek prostřednictvím snížení aerodynamického hluku. Na závěr je prezentován výsledek jednoho z úspěšných řešení založené na kaskádové expanzi vzduchu v potrubí dosahující snížení hlučnosti asi o 6 dB. (cs)
