Description	The related projects solved in our laboratory deal with the following tasks: construction of the gas target systems, optimisation and treatment of irradiated targets using recycling of target materials, choosing of methods for synthesis of medical substances, development of medical product technology and selection and/or development of necessary control procedures. All above steps were verified by standard validation procedures in accord with the good manufacturing practice (GMP) philosophy. The first system constructed was the Kr/Rb target, which employs cryogenically recycled file of enriched Kr. The product has been used to manufacture 81Rb/81mKr generators. The system successfully passed by clinical trials and registration procedure. The second system being developed is the Xe/I target. The basic principle is the same: cryogenically recycled file of the enriched target gas. The production technologies of some generic medical products (MIBG-123I, OIH-123I) have been adopted.
