Description	Nowadays there are many web information systems at focus on different subjects, therefore the problem on hand is not the quantity of the web information systems but its quality. It is not an easy task for the user to choose the right system. In this paper we will examine the web information system named la-ma.cz, which is the information source focusing on land management. Furthermore, we will also turn our attention to the question of %22How should a quality web information system for a student of Faculty of Civil Engineering look like?%22 from the view of the editor.
