In order to derive a meaningful constitutive relationship for the Calcium-Silicate-Hydrate (CSH) phase in hardened cement paste, a micromechanical approach is used. Material properties can be identified by solving an inverse problem based on the nanoindentation experiment. An example of application to white cement paste is presented.
