| Description
| - Úkolem studie je pokračování v řešení problému opakovaného ohrožování předměstí Českého Krumlova vybřežováním toku Polečnice. K řešení byl použit hydrologický simulační prostředek WMS 6.1 (Watershed Modeling System). Pro účely studie byla užita jednoduchá empirická metoda čísel odtokových křivek (CN) k určení objemu odtoku, metoda jednotkového hydrogramu a doby koncentrace k určení velikosti kulminačního průtoku a pro transformaci vlny byla použita metoda Muskingum-Cunge. Výpočet byl prováděn modulem HEC-1. Vstupní data byla vytvořena v prostředcích GIS (ArcView a Idrisi). Pro kalibraci modelu byla simulována situace za srpnových povodní 2002, tzn. pro srážky z 6-7.8., 11.-13.8. a 31.8.2002. (cs)
- The project focuses on studying the rainfall-runoff conditions of catchments. The research study should help to find possible ways of protection the Cesky Krumlov suburb from repeated flooding by Polecnice stream. Rainfall-runoff processes were simulated in hydrologic interface WMS 6.1 (Watershed Modeling System). For purposes of this study Curve Number Method, Method of Unit Hydrograph and Muskingum-Cunge Method for channel routing were used. The calculation was provided by HEC-1 model. Input data were prepared in GIS (ArcView, Idrisi). Flood situation from summer 2002 (precipitations from 6.-8.8., 11.-13.8. and 31.8.2002) was used for calibration. After the calibration the study focused on simulation of different scenarios that can influence runoff (change of land use, channel roughness and channel size, reservoirs). Tendencies noticeable from model results were helpful for conclusion of knowledge which combination of influences would lead to solution of runoff problems.
