Description
  • A semi-scale device is employed for the analysis of hygrothermal performance of a building envelope with exterior thermal insulation in the conditions of difference climate. The tested building envelope consists from the interior to the exterior of a concrete wall, water vapor retarder on the cementitious basis, hydrophilic thermal insulation on the mineral wool basis. The experimental situation is then modeled using the computer code TRANSMAT 4.3 and calculated results are compared with measurements. The observed differences are discussed and recommendations for the improvement of computer modeling process are given.
