Description	Article presents a study of mechanical causes of acetabular cup migration. The investigation of possible causes is divided into two groups: (i) micromotions due to cancellous bone overloading which drive the structural changes in the trabecular bone and (ii) osteolysis due to the wear of small particles of polyethylene material introducing formation of osteoagresive granuloma.
