| - The tropospheric column of ozone is analyzed from the measurements of the vertical ozone profile by balloon-born ozonesondes. We present a trend analysis on detection of the long-term tropospheric ozone variability over the European network. A large increase in the European tropospheric ozone since the beginning of the 1970s and a kind of stabilization in the early 1990s have been corroborated by the study.This pattern comes from the most extensive data set of ozonesoundings over Hohenpeissenberg and Payern.The results of a stepwise regression model using various characteristics of the ozone and temperature profiles as explanatory variables for the tropospheric column ozone variations show the ozone changes may be reconstructed using the ozone mixing ratio at 500 hPa, the thermal tropopause height, and the difference between ozonepause and thermal tropopause heights.It appears the last two factors induce 20-30% of the net tropospheric column oz. change over Hohenpeissenberg in the 1970-2004 period.

- V této práci je analyzováno 16000 vertikálních profilů ozónu na 6 evropských ozonosondážních stanicích s cílem zjistit dlouhodobé chování množství ozónu v stratosféře. Na třech stanicích data zahrnují období od roku 1970 do současnosti. Silní vzrůst koncentrace troposférického ozónu od začátku 70 let minulého století byl vystřídán stabilizací na začátku 90 let na stanicích Payern a Hoheinpeissenberg Výsledky regresního modelu, který používá různé charakteristiky ozónu a teploty jako vysvětlující proměnné pro množství troposférického ozónu ukazují, že změny troposférického ozónu mohou být popsány směšovacím poměrem ozónu v hladině 500 hPa, výškou termální tropopausy a rozdílem výšek mezi chemickou a termální tropopausou. Poslední dvě proměnné vysvětlují 20 až 30 % proměnlivosti množství troposférického ozónu na stanici Hoheinpeissenberg v období 1970 – 2004. (cs)
