Description	Práce se zabývá horkými a studenými vlnami v pozorování, kontrolních výstupech GCM, statistickém downscalingu z pozorov.beta.ní, statistickém downscalingu z GCM a stochastickém generátoru počasí. Srovnání ukazuje, že žádný z modelů neposkytuje obecně lepší výsledky pokud jde o simulaci extrémních teplotních jevů ve střední Evropě. The study concentrates on heat wave and cold wave characteristics in (i) observation, (ii) GCM simulated control climates, (iii) statistical downscaling from observation, (iv) statistical downscaling from GCMs and (v) stochastic weather generator. The comparison shows that none of the models yields generally better results than the others as regards the simulation of extreme temperature events in central Europe. (en)
