Description	The CALICE collaboration is studying the design of high perfomance electromagnetic and hadron calorimeters for the ILC. A %22physics prototype%22 of the electromagnetic calorimeter has been constructed, consisting of thirty sensitive layers. It has been exposed in 2006 and 2007 to electron and hadron beams at DESY and CERN. In this paper, the prototype and the data acqusition chain are described and a summary of the data taken in the 2006 beam tests is presented. Byl zkonstruován %22fyzikální prototyp%22 elektromagnetického kalorimetru, který je složen ze třiceti aktivních vrstev. Prototyp byl ozařován v l. 2006 a 2007 ve svazku elektronů a hadronů v DESY a CERN. V této publikaci je popsán prototyp, systém sběru dat a přehled dat, která byla kalorimetrem zaznamenaná v r. 2006.
