  • Particles of the maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) phase of 5 nm size were prepared by chemical coprecipitation. Their transition to superparamagnetic behaviour was studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy and d.c. magnetic measurements in two different relevant time windows. The two sets of determined blocking temperatures gave an estimate for both the pre-exponential factor and the energy barrier from the Arhenius-type relation in an order-of-magnitude agreement with the data published for bulk maghemite

Jejich přechod do superparamagnetického stavu byl studován pomocí Mössbauerovy spktroskopie a statických magnetických měření ve dvou odlišných časových oknech. Z příslušných blokovacích teplot odvozených z těchto měření byla odhadnuta velikost předexponenciálního faktoru a energetické bariéry, jež vystupují ve vztahu Arheniova typu, v řádovém souhlasu s daty publikovanými pro objemový maghemit (cs)
