Description	The author deals with two thematic fields. First he gives a brief outline of the problems of international investments with reference to the usual contents of bilateral agreements concluded by the Czech Republic and the differences in some of these agreements. In the second part he deals with the specific issues of the settlement of disputes arisen from the protection of international investments. Ample bibliography.
