| - In epithelial cells, the cell surface glycoprotein E-cadherin is a key molecule in the establishment of cell-cell adhesion. In addition to its contribution to cell adhesion, E-cadherin was found to induce ligand-independent activation of the EGF receptor,likely as a result of their clustering. - V epiteliálních buňkách je povrchový buněčný glykoprotein E-cadherin klíčovou molekulou při vzniku mezibuněčné adheze. Kromě jeho účasti na buněčné adhezi bylo zjištěno, že E-cadherin vyvolává aktivaci receptoru EGF nezávislou na ligandu, pravděpodobně jako výsledek jejich spojení. V buňkách A431 a ve dvou liniích buněk kolorektálního karcinomu jsme analyzovali vzájemné reakce E-cadherin-EGFR a jejich důsledky pomocí imunologického přenosu a analýzy aktivity řady protein-kináz (cs)
