Description	Superoxiddizmutázová aktivita v rohovkovém epitelu je vysoká u králíků a morčat, zatímco u prasat je aktivita nízká a u krav téměř chybí. Narozdíl, glutationperoxidátová aktivita v rohovkovém epitelu je vysoká u krav, prasat a králíků, zatímco u morčat je aktivita nízká. Mezidruhové rozdíly v enzymatických aktivitách antioxidační a prooxidační rovnováhy pravděpodobně souvisí s noční nebo denní aktivitou zvířat. (cs) Superoxide dismutase activity in the corneal epithelium is high in rabbits and guinea pigs, whereas in pigs the activity is low and in cows it is nearly absent. In contrast, glutathione peroxidase activity in the corneal epithelium is high in cows, pigs and rabbits, whereas in guinea pigs the activity is low. The inter-species variations in activities of enzymes participating in antioxidant/prooxidant balance may be associated with diurnal or nocturnal activity of animals.
