Description	Zkoumáme, jaké ekonomické, politické a kulturní faktory ovlivňují zaměstnanost matek v České republice a bývalém východním Německu. Zaměřujeme se na faktory, které byly doposud zkoumány zřídkakdy - podmínky pro kombinování práce a rodiny na úrovni podniků. Naše analýza ukázala, že je nutné, v kontextu států bývalého východoevropského bloku, rozlišovat mezi různými typy dvoupříjmového modelu uspořádání genderových vztahů. Jejich ustavení lze dokumentovat na datech z období před rokem 1989 a jejich divergentní vývoj na datech z období transformace po roce 1989. (cs) We examine how the economic, political and cultural factors affect mothers´ employment in the Czech Republic and former eastern Germany. We focus on factors that have so far received little attention: conditions relating to the work-life balance within companies. Based on our analysis we also offer evidence that a typology of gender models in the countries of the former eastern European block must include different versions of the dual earner model. The versions in the dual earner model existed already before 1989 and have diverged during the transformation after 1990. (en) In diesem Kapitel befassen wir uns mit den ökonomischen, politischen und kulturellen Faktoren die Berufstätigkeit der tschechischen und ostdeutschen Mütter beeinflussen. Wir konzentrieren uns an die Faktoren, die bis jetzt nur selten untersucht waren - Bedingungen zur Kombination von Arbeit und Familie innerhalb der Betriebe. Unsere Analyse hat gezeigt, dass es nötig, im Kontext der Staaten des ehemaligen Ostblocks, zwischen verschiedenen Doppeleinkommen-Modellen von der Regelung der Geschlechterbeziehungen zu unterscheiden ist. Deren Konstituierung lässt sich an den Daten aus dem Zeit bevor 1989 und deren divergenten Entwicklung in der Transformationszeit nach 1989 dokumentieren.
