Description
Z hlediska základních ekologických charakteristik se sledované typy biotopů významně nelišily v relativní abundanci a ekvitabilitě a signifikantně odlišovaly v diverzitě. Druhová diverzita byla vyšší u drobných lesíků a větrolamů vzhledem k výskytu většího množství druhů otevřených stanovišť, což je dáno ekotonovým charakterem těchto biotopů (větší diverzita stanovišť). Společným znakem všech sledovaných biotopů byla výrazná eudominance druhů A. flavicollis, A. sylvaticius a C. glareolus, jenž se jevily jako nejpřizpůsobivější druhy a naopak nízká hustota hmyzožravců (Insectivora). • Isolated forest complexes in intensively managed landscape are important refuges for communities of small terrestrial mammals (Rodentia, Insectivora). The present study compares populations of small mammals in larger isolated forest complexes with populations living in small woods and windbreaks. The aim was to compare both types of habitat and to evaluate their importance for the quantity and diversity of small mammals. Seen through the perspective of basic ecological characteristics, there was no significant difference in relative abundance and equitability between the observed types of habitats, however their diversities differed significantly. The species diversity was higher in small woods and windbreaks due to the occurrence of a higher number of types of open habitats, which results from the ecotone character of these habitats.
