Description
  • A method for suppressing the water signal in in vivo H-1 MR spectroscopy has been developed such that its efficiency is not affected by the dispersion of relaxation times T1nor by inhomogeneous RF field (e.g. with surface coils). The effect is achieved by the application of several shaped adiabatic pulses with optimized frequency offsets and delay between them. The parameters necessary for the implementation of the method have been published (J. Magn. Reson. 152, 168–178 (2001)). According to citations the method has been used for biomedical research at several institutions worldwide.

  • Byla vyvinuta metoda potlačení signálu vody pro in vivo H-1 MR spektroskopii účinná pro široký rozsah relaxačních časů T1 i v nehomogenním RF poli (např. s povrchovými cívkami). Účinku se dosahuje použitím několika tvarovaných adiabatických pulsů s optimalizovanými frekvenčními ofsety a prodlevami mezi nimi. Údaje nezbytné k implementaci metody byly publikovány (J. Magn. Reson. 152, 168–178 (2001)). Dle citací je metoda používána k biomedicínskému výzkumu na několika světových pracovištích. (cs)
