Description
  • Lokální amplituda smykové deformace a skluzová aktivita perzistentních skluzových pásů (PSP) během zátěžného půlcyklu byla v různých stádiích únavově zatěžovaného polykrystalického niklu studována pomocí atomové rastrovací mikroskopie (AFM) a rastrovacího elektronového mikroskopu (SEM). Pro studium tvorby skluzových stupňů během zátěžného půlcyklu a růstu extruzí byly provedeny experimenty in situ. (cs)
  • Local shear strain amplitude and half-slip activity of persistent slip bands (PSBs) in polycrystalline nickel was investigated after half-cycle deformation at different stages of fatigue life using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In-situ experiments were adopted to study both the formation of slip steps during half-cycle loading as well as the development of extrusions with increasing number of cycles. During half-cycle loading the slip steps do not develop proportionally to the applied plastic strain and only part of the accumulated PSB volume is active. The half-cycle slip activity of PSBs strongly depends on the stages of fatigue life. The local shear strain amplitude of PSBs in polycrystals is comparable to that for single crystals and is nearly independent on the stage of fatigue life. A correlation between cumulated volume fraction of PSBs, half-cycle slip activity and orientation of the activated slip systems was found.
