  • Kompozit tvořený hořčíkovou matricí zpevněnou 10 obj. % částic titanu o velikost pod 0.025 mm byl připraven práškově metalurgickou cestou se závěrečným protlačováním při teplotě 400 °C. Z protlačených tyčí o průměru 10 mm byly vyrobeny vzorky pro creepové zkoušky v tlaku. Válcové vzorky byly vyřezávány tak, aby osa vzorku a osa tyče svírala požadovaný úhel v rozmezí 0° až 90°. Bylo použito stupňovité zatěžování při teplotách 300 a 350 °C. Technika umožňuje určit napěťovou závislost rychlosti creepu. Tato závislost může být popsána Nortonovým vztahem s mocninou větší než 20. Mocnina je pouze mírně závislá na orientaci vzorku. Na druhé straně, rychlost creepu při daném aplikovaném napětí je závislá na orientaci: největší odolnost proti creepu je pozorována u vzorků s osou rovnoběžnou s osou protlačování. (cs)
  • A magnesium matrix composite reinforced with 10 vol. % titanium particles with sizes below 0.025 mm was prepared through a powder metallurgical route with final hot extrusion at 400 °C. The specimens for compressive creep testing were machined from extruded bars of diameter 10 mm. The cylindrical specimens were cut in such a way that their axis and the axis of extruded bar contained a predestined angle from 0 to 90°. The stepwise loading at temperatures 300 and 350 °C was used. The technique enables to determine the stress dependence of the creep rate. The dependence can be described by the Norton law with power greater than 20. The power is only slightly dependent on the specimen orientation. On the other hand, the creep rate at given applied stress is sensitive to the orientation: the greatest creep resistance is observed in specimens with axis parallel to the extrusion axis.
