Description	Elektroforetická depozice (EPD) je technikou velmi vhodnou pro přípravu vláknových kompozitů s keramickou matricí. V příspěvku je prezentován významný pokrok, kterého bylo dosaženo při apliakci EPD při výrobě velkých komponent z kompozitů na bázi korundové matrice a Nextelové tkaniny jako výztuže. EPD process umožňuje velmi dobrou infiltraci korundových nanočástic do 2D tkaniny a vede tak k tvorbě kompozitů s vysokou hustotou a mikrostrukturní homogenitou. Současně jsou charakterizovány mechanické vlastnosti kompozitu pri pokojové teplotě a rovněž při vysokých teplotách. (cs) Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) is a very convenient technique for the processing of fibre reinforced ceramic matrix composites. A significant progress in the application of EPD to manufacturing large composite components based on alumina matrices and Nextel(R) woven fibre mat as reinforcement is presented. The EPD process enables high infiltration of alumina nanoparticles onto 2-D fibre mats, thus leading to composites of high density and microstructural homogeneity. The mechanical properties of the composites at room and high temperatures are charactersised.
