  • V příspěvku je analyzováno a hodnoceno lomové chování hybridního kompozitu se skelnou matricí před a po teplotním stárnutí a po opakovaných teplotních šocích. U výchozího materiálu byla naměřena lomová houževnatost v rozmezí 2,6-6,4 MPam1/2, po teplotním šokování podstatně klesla. V případě stárnutí při 700 °C po dobu 24 h hodnoty KIc klesly na 0,4 MPam1/2. Hodnoty KIc klesly na 1,3 MPam1/2 pro největší počet teplotních šoků realizovaných z 500 °C (24 cyklů). Poškození vzorků v důsledku tepelných šoků a teplotního stárnutí spočívalo v oxidaci vláken a tvorbě pórů spojené se změkčením skelné matrice, v případě teplotního cyklování navíc v důsledku superponovaného zbytkového pnutí v matrici produkované opakovanými teplotními šoky.   • The fracture behaviour of hybrid glass matrix composite samples before and after thermal ageing and/or thermal shock cycling in air has been analysed and evaluated. The fracture toughness values measured were in the range 2.6-6.4 MPam1/2 for the as received material and they were significantly reduced by thermal ageing and thermal shock treatments. The KIc values dropped to 0.4 MPam1/2 for ageing at 700 °C for 24 h due to fibre oxidation and porosity formation in the matrix as a result of softening of the glass. The KIc values decreased to 1.3 MPam1/2 for the maximum number of thermal shock cycles from 500 °C (24 cycles). The damage in the samples due to thermal shock is based on fibre oxidation and porosity formation, as in case of thermal ageing, and, in addition, due to superposed residual thermal stresses in the matrix produced by repeated thermal shocks.
