Description	This is a biography of Oswald Reinlein, prior of the Augustinian Friars in Nuremberg and Vienna. Reinlein was active in observant reform of his order. In 1426, he was commissioned to preach the cross in Vienna against the Hussites. The background of this sermon campaign is discussed and details of Reinlein’s life provided as revealed in sources from Nuremberg archives.
