Description	Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die Ergebnisse neuerer deutscher bzw. auf Deutsch publizierter Forschungen zum Thema frühneuzeitliche Migration und Exil, wobei der Fokus auf den sog. böhmischen Exulanten liegt. Neben der Fachliteratur zu den böhmischen Exulanten wird im ersten Teil auch die Begrifflichkeit diskutiert und auf die verschiedenen Instrumentalisierungen des Begriffes „Exulant“ sowie auf den Erfolg des „Exulantenparadigmas“ hingewiesen. Darauf aufbauend werden im zweiten Teil des Artikels Forschungsergebnisse und -tendenzen präsentiert, welche sich allgemein mit frühneuzeitlicher Migration, Konfession und Auswanderung befassen. The aim of this article is to present the results of the most recent German, i.e. German-language, research on the theme of early modern period exile and migration, in which emphasis is placed on the Bohemian post-White Mountain exile. The first part of the article focuses on the theme of the Bohemian post-White Mountain exile and on the concept itself of “exile, in which a concise overview of the state of research is submitted with the aim of drawing attention chiefly to various instrumentalisations of this concept, as well as to the “success of the whole research paradigm. The study presents in its second part the results and tendencies of research which deal on a more general level with themes of early modern migrations, their confessional context and religiously motivated exile.
