  • Diploid hybrid plants (2n = 18) between sexual diploid cytotypes of Hieracium alpinum and H. umbellatum were found in the Ukrainian Eastern Carpathians. They were identified with H. xgrofae WOŁ., originally used for the combination H. decipiens x H. umbellatum var. lactaris. As H. decipiens sensu WOŁ. (non TAUSCH) does not produce viable pollen grains and is most probably a polyploid apomict, it is unlikely to produce diploid hybrid plants with diploid H. umbellatum. Both parent species, Hieracium alpinum and H. umbellatum are also given by WOŁOSZCZAK from the original locality. Thus we conclude that H. xgrofae is result of hybridization between H. alpinum and high mountain form of H. umbellatum. Hybrid plants are morphologically intermediate between the parent species, and moreover resemble closely or they are identical with the experimental hybrids of the same parent combination.   • Diploidní hybridní rostliny (2n = 18) mezi sexuálními cytotypy Hieracium alpinum and H. umbellatum byly nalezeny v Ukrajinských Východních Karpatech. Rostliny odpovídají H. xgrofae WOŁ., které bylo původně popsáno jako H. decipiens x H. umbellatum var. lactaris. Hieracium decipiens sensu WOŁ. (non TAUSCH) ale neprodukuje vitální pyl a je polyploidním apomiktem, a je proto velmi nepravděpodobné, že by se účastnilo křížení s H. umbellatum. Woloszczak přitom z originální lokality uvádí i Hieracium alpinum. Je proto zřejmé, že H. xgrofae vzniká křížením H. alpinum a vysokohorské formy H. umbellatum. Hybridní rostliny jsou morfologicky intermediární a odpovídají experimentálně získaným hybridům stejné rodičovské kombinace. Tvoří značné množství velikostně homogenního pylu (standartní odchylka a variační koeficient jsou nižší než horní limit pro diploidy – 3μm resp. 7.5%), a mohou proto pravděpodobně vystupovat jako zdroj pylu v dalších kříženích; na druhou stranu ale netvoří žádná semena (samičí sterili...
