Description
| - Two distinct zones were distinguished in the floodplain: Zone I is under direct influence of the river, and exhibits higher pH and ammonium content in largely fluctuating groundwater; and Zone II, covering more than half of the floodplain extent, is under the prevailing influence of water coming from the adjacent upland, and exhibits lower pH, higher content of humine acids, and a higher and relatively stable groundwater table. The diverse mosaic of the riparian communities, especially of tall-sedge and tall-grass marshes and alluvial meadows, is typical for the former zone, while peatland vegetation characterises the latter one.

- Byly vylišeny dvě hlavní zóny v říční nivě: jedna pod hydrologickým vlivem řeky, druhá pod vlivem vody z okolních svahů. Obě zóny se navzájem lišily složením vegetace a hydrochemickými a hydrologickými parametry. (cs)
