Description	Rukev bahenní (Rorippa palustris) se vyznačuje variabilním životním cyklem: může se choval jako jednoletka, bvouletka nebo krátce vytrvalá rostlina. Tato vlastnost je umožněna mimo jiné adventivním odnožováním z kořenového systému. Tato vlastnost je umožněna mimo jiné adventivním odnožováním z kořenového systému. (cs) The short-lived monocarpic herb Rorippa palustris is able to resprout from adventitious root buds. Plants from ten populations from both natural and anthropogenic habitats were analysed to find out how many of them can flower repeatedly and prolongate their life-cycle under natural conditions due to resprouting from root buds. It was found that 10 to 70 % of individuals per population flowered repeatedly. Plants from natural habitats were higher, formed a higher number of adventitious shoots and a lower number of inflorescences than plants from anthropogenic habitats. Measurements on 100 individuals from two populations showed that plant age influenced significantly only plant size and number of inflorescences; on the other hand, the number of shoots was significantly influenced only by the type of habitat (en)
