  • Microbial community composition was studied in subglacial and periglacial habitats on 5 glaciers near Ny-Alesund,Svalbard . Physico-chemical analyses (pH, texture, WC, OM, total C and N ) were also performed. 57 taxa of 23 genera of cyanobacteria and algae were identified. Chlorophyceae and cyanobacteria were richest in biodiversity. The numbers of identified species in habitates were 23 in subglacial, 39 in barren, 22 in cryoconite, and 24 in vegetated soils. The highest cyanobacterial and algal biovolume and cell numbers were present in cryoconite, followed by barren, vegetated, and subglacial soils.

  • V studovaných periglaciálních a subglaciálních půdách byla pozorována mikrobiální společenstva (bakterie, sinice, řasy) jejich kvalitativní a kvantitativní složení. Nejvyšší druhovou diversity měly třídy Chlorophyceae a Cyanobacteria. Nejvhodnějším prostředím pro rozvoj fototrofních mikroorganismů byly kryokonity, pro rozvoj bakterií nejstarší sukcesní stadia s vyššími rostlinami. Biomasa sinic a řas je nejvíce závislá na struktuře půdy a obsahu vody v půdě, bakterie jsou nejvíce ovlivněny množství dusíku a vody v půdě. (cs)
