| - Invaze Heracleum mantegazzianum ve Slavkovském lese byla analyzována pomocí leteckých snímků, pořízovaných v letech 1947–2002. Během tohoto období se druh šířil plošně průměrnou rychlostí 1261 m2/rok, lineárně rychlostí 10.8 m/rok. Přímý vliv rychlosti invaze na invadovanou plochu byl menší než vliv doby trvání invaze. V průběhu invaze se rostliny šířily z lineárních krajinných struktur do okolí. Výsledky ukazují, že druh při své invazi jen málo omezen místními podmínkami. Znalost historie invaze lze využít k navržení vhodné kontrolní strategie. (cs)
- Invasion by Heracleum mantegazzianum in Slavkovský les region was analysed from the beginning, using aerial photographs taken on 11 sampling dates between 1947–2002. Mean rate of areal spread was 1,261 m2 yr–1, that of linear spread 10.8 m yr–1. The direct effect of the rate of invasion on invaded area was larger than that of residence time, but the total effect (direct and indirect) of residence time was comparable to that of the rate of invasion. As invasion proceeded, the populations spread from linear habitats to the surroundings. The results indicate that the local environmental conditions hardly limit the spread of Heracleum. Knowledge of the history of invasion gained from aerial photographs can be used by managers to design appropriate control strategy, i.e. to identify dispersal foci, concentrate on linear landscape structures with developing populations.
