Description	Die Konferenz befasste sich mit den Mediengeschichte in den zentraleuropäischen nationalen Gesellschaften (insbesondere in den böhmischen Ländern, in der Slowakei, Deutschland und in Österreich) seit dem ausgehenden 19. Jahrhundert. Einige Themen wurde dabei mit Nachdruck hervorgehoben, wie z.B. die Eigentumsstruktur von Massenmedien, der Einfluss der Medien auf die Transformationsprozesse in den politischen Parteien, die Rolle der Zensur in den totalitären Systemen der Moderne usw. Konference se zabývala dějinami médií ve středoevropských národních společnostech od konce 19. století (zvláště v českých zemích, na Slovensku, v Německu a v Rakousku). Některá témata přitom byla zvláště zdůrazněna, např. vlastnická struktura médií a její vývoj, vliv médií na transformaci politických stran, role censury v moderních totalitních systémech apod. (cs) The conference dealt with the history of mass media in the Central European national societies (especially in Czech lands, Slovakia, Germany and Austria) since the late 19th century. Some topics were especially stressed : the owners´structure of the mass media , the influence of media for the transformation of the political parties, the role of censorship in the modern totalitarian systems, etc. (en)
