Description	Professors of the Prague German University found new places of work rather quickly after the World War II. Their social status, their personal contacts, common trauma of the expulsion and the cold war played role; on the other hand their split, ambiguous politic past was hardly important. There was, however, another crucial moment – as Karl Valentin Müller, also the Prague %22Rassenforscher%22, i. e. the race-researcher, whom even Josef Pfitzner saw as a scientist with scornful eyes, said – the %22.. practical professional solidarity of universities%22. (en) Die Professoren der Prager Deutschen Universität fand nach dem Krieg relativ schnell neue Wirkungsstätte. Dabei spielte eine Rolle der soziale Status eines Professors, persönliche Kontakte, das gemeinsame Trauma der Vertreibung und der kalte Krieg; eine zwielichtige politische Vergangenheit war hingegen kaum von Bedeutung. Ausschlaggebend war jedoch, mit den Worten von Karl Valentin Müller, also jenes Prager Rassenforschers, für den auch Josef Pfitzner als Wissenschaftler nur verachtende Worte finden konnte, die %22... praktische ... Standessolidarität der Hochschulen%22. Profesoři Německé univerzity v Praze nalezli po válce relativně rychle nová působiště. Roli přitom hrálo sociální postavení, osobní kontakty, společné trauma z vyhnání a studená válka; temná politická minulost naproti tomu měla jen malý význam. Rozhodující však byla %22praktická stavovská solidarita vysokých škol%22. (cs)
