Description	Práce shrnuje problematiku rituálního ukládání potravy a nápojů do hrobů na pohřebištích z 9.a 10. století ve středních Čechách a srovnává poznatky se situací na Moravě i v Bavorsku. Ukazuje, že nové analytické metody umožňují v některých případech určit typ potravin v nádobách (Infrared, palynologie, určení makrozbytků): ovesná či pšeničná kaše, někdy s medem. Sleduje, jak zvyk potravinových milodarů postupně ustupuje pod tlakem křesťanských představ.
