Description	Les différences observées concernent, principalement, les variables de la voûte cranienne. La différenciation observée concerne aussi bien les variables de format que celles de forme. Les populations Cordés présentent, par exemple, une morphologie dolichocr.GAMMA.ne alors que les Campaniformes sont nettement plus brachycr.GAMMA.nes ; les individus SOM sont caractérisés par une morphologie intermédiaire entre ces groupes. Les résultats de l'analyse multivariée sont présentés sous la forme dŽanalyses en composantes principales et par une classification hièrarchique. Ces analyses séparent très nettement les Cordés des Campaniformes, et ce, à partir dŽun nombre limité de variables. Les SOM se répartissent parmi les deux autres groupes morphologiques. LŽinterprétation de ces affinités et disparités morphologiques se heurte, cependant, au faible nombre de variables et dŽindividus étudiés. Le troisième millénaire se caractérise, en Europe centrale et Occidentale par lŽémergence relat Third millennium is characterised in archaeological records of Central and Occidental Europe by the relatively sudden appearance of some culture groups which have unified more or less independent regions of previous Neolithic times. Two great cultural complexes can be identified: the Corded Ware Culture (henceforth referred as CWC) in the east and the north of Europe and Bell Beaker Culture (henceforth referred as BBC) in the west and south of Europe. On the other hand, Paris Basin records the late Neolithic occurrence of collective burials, which is continued in third millennium by cultural groups, whose distribution appears in her name: the Seine-Oise-Marne (henceforth referred as SOM). The main concern of the present work is to examine the intra-populational variability and morphological affinities of the great European cultural complexes by means of univariate as well as the multivariate statistical methods.
