  • V chovech kapra obecného se občas vyskytují deformace úst a ploutví, které mají vliv na užitkovost a prodejnost ryb. Populace 452 jedinců přiřazených k jedinému rodičovskému páru byla testována na genetický vliv u deformací úst a ploutví. Závažnost deformací úst významně (P<0,0001) ovlivnila růst a rovněž ryby s chybějící řitní ploutví vykazovaly nižší hmotnost (P<0,05). Hodnoty heritability pro jednotlivé deformace byly nízké (<0,1) a jen u deformace řitní ploutve byla hodnota významně vyšší od nulové hodnoty (h2 = 0,09 +/- 0,05). Genetické korelace byly většinou záporné a velmi nepřesné a fenotypové korelace byly nízké (<= 0,12). Imbríding vypočtený jako regrese mezi vážností deformací a výskytem homozygotních alel nepodal rovněž dostačující vysvětlení na genetický vliv deformací (R2=7.10-4 u úst, R2=7.10-5 u řitní a R2=0,017 u ocasní ploutve).   • Mouth and fin deformities have an impact on marketing value of common carp. A stock of 452 uniquely assigned fish from two-generation pedigree was individually assessed for mouth and fin deformities. The severity of mouth deformity significantly (P<0.0001) affected growth, and body weight between groups with normal and missing anal fin was also different (P<0.05). Heritabilities (observed scale) were low (<0.1) and only the one for anal fin deformity (0.09 +/- 0.04) was significantly different from zero. Genetic correlations between the deformities were mostly negative and unprecise, and phenotypic correlations were low (<= 0.12). The influence of inbreeding calculated from regressions of the severity of deformities on the proportion of homozygous loci did not explain a significant part of variance for any trait (R2=7.10-4 for mouth, R2=7.10-5 for anal fin and R2=0.017 for caudal fin). It can be concluded that no genetic effect on mouth deformities was observed, but the situation in fin deformities...
