| - The paper deals with sensitivity of microstructure fibers (MSFs) modified by xerogel layers to aromatic hydrocarbons, namely to toluene. Capillary silica fibers (CFs) were used as a reference. Xerogel layers based on tetraethoxysilane or methyltriethoxysilane were applied onto the hole walls of segments of the MSFs and CFs. The sensitivity of the fibers was determined from spectral changes in a range of 1600-1800 nm. A detection limit of about 0.007 vol.% of toluene has been achieved.

- Práce se zabývá citlivostí tří typů mikrostrukturních vláken (MSF) modifikovaných xerogelovými vrstvami k aromatickým uhlovodíkům, jmenovitě toluenu. Jako referenční byla použita kapilární vlákna (CF). Na stěny děr v úsecích připravených MSF a CF vláken byly naneseny xerogelové vrstvy na bázi tetraethoxysilanu a methyltriethoxysilanu. Byly sledovány spektrální změny v oblasti vlnových délek 1600-1800 nm v závislosti na plynném analytu v děrách vláken. Bylo dosaženo limitu detekce 0,007 %obj. pro toluen. (cs)
