Description
  • This paper deals with a new approach for detection of toluene in water which is based on conductivity changes of a xerogel layer deposited on Si/SiO2 electrode caused by toluene. In experiments resistance and phase variations of absolute impedance of the xerogel layer in contact with small amounts of toluene in water were evaluated by means of impedance spectroscopy. A detection limit of 100 ppm and a dynamic range 100 ppm-0.7% can be determined from experimental time response curves.

  • Článek popisuje výsledky nového postupu pro detekci toluenu ve vodě využívajícího změn elektrické vodivosti xerogelové vrstvy nanesené na Si/SiO2 elektrodě způsobených toluenem. V experimentech byly metodou impendanční spektroskopie měřeny změny odporu a fáze absolutní impedance xerogelové vrstvy, která byla v kontaktu s malým množstvím toluenu ve vodě. Detekční limit 100 ppm toluenu a dynamický rozsah 100 ppm-0.75 byly určeny z experimentálně určených časových změn. (cs)
