  • We demonstrate parametric amplification of WDM signals and multiple wavelength conversion with gain based on four-photon parametric mixing in a highly nonlinear fibre (HNLF). Two pumps with a 100 GHz separation located in the region of anomalous dispersion of the HNLF are combined to form a beet signal. A high-power EDFA boosts the beet signal which is then combined with a signal wave by a directional coupler into the HNLF.

  • V příspěvku jsou uvedeny výsledky zesilování WDM signálů a jejich vícenásobná konverze založená na čtyř-fotonovém parametrickém směšování v optickém vláknu s vysokou nelinearitou (HNLF). Dvě čerpací vlny vzdálené od sebe o 100GHz v oblasti anomální disperze jsou směšovány v HNLF. Po zesílení v EDFA jsou čerpací signály sloučeny s modulovaným signálem a navázány do HNLF. (cs)
