  • Symposium was focused to coherence and electromagnetism in biological systems, their interaction with external electromagnetic fields, and to medical applications of electromagnetic fields. Living systems are non-linear open dissipative systems, electrically polar, and far from thermal equilibrium by metabolic energy supply. Coherence was introduced into biology by H. Fröhlich. Organization is understood as organization of morphological structures, chemical reactions, and endogenous electromagnetic fields.
