  • Cílem této studie bylo odhadnout vliv vegetačního krytu na hydrofyzikální charakteristiky písčité půdy na lokalitě Mláky II u obce Sekule (jihozápadní Slovensko). Na lokalitě byly označeny tři stanoviště: stanoviště 1 s převážně travním krytem (Luční půda), stanoviště 2 tvořené borovým lesem (Lesní půda) a stanoviště 3 kryté převážně mechem (Holina). Téměř čistý písek, který se vyskytoval v hloubce 50 cm na stanovišti 3 (Čistý písek), byl použit jako slepý vzorek, na němž nebyl patrný žádný vliv vegetace. Bylo zjištěno, že jak čas zasáknutí kapky vody (WDPT), tak index vodoodpudivosti R klesají v pořadí: Lesní půda - Holina - Luční půda - Čistý písek. Ve stejném pořadí se zvyšuje sorptivita pro vodu a hydraulická vodivost: Lesní půda - Holina - Luční půda - Čistý písek. Nasycená hydraulická vodivost klesá v pořadí: Luční půda - Holina - Lesní půda - Čistý písek. (cs)
  • The objective of this study was to assess an impact of plant cover on hydrophysical characteristics of sandy soil at the locality Mláky II at Sekule (southwest Slovakia). Three sites were demarcated at the locality, with mainly grass species at site 1 (Meadow soil), pine forest at site 2 (Forest soil), and mainly moss species at site 3 (Glade soil). Almost pure sand, occurring at the depth of 50 cm at site 3 (Pure sand), was used as a blank sample where no impact of plant cover was detected. It was found that both the water drop penetration time WDPT and index of water repellency R decreased in the order: Forest soil - Glade soil - Meadow soil - Pure sand. In the same order there increased the sorptivity for water and the hydraulic conductivity: Forest soil - Glade soil - Meadow soil - Pure sand. The saturated hydraulic conductivity Ks increased in the order: Meadow soil - Glade soil - Forest soil - Pure sand.
