| - Selektivní celeobuněčný optický senzor polychlorovaných bifenylů (PCB) se třemi chlory v molekule je založen na monitorování žlutého meziproduktu biodegradace mikroorganismem Pseudomonas sp.P2. Opakovatelně použitelný biosenzor (WCB) byl připraven imobilizací Pseudomonas sp.P2 do křemičitého gelu, který obsahoval bifenyl v koncentraci 0,01 mg/l. Produkce žlutého zabarvení pomocí WCB byla testována v přítomnosti 17 individuálních PCB kongenerů, komerční směsi Delor 103, toluenu, xylenu, anthracenu, naftalenu, 1-methylnaftalenu, pyrenu, phenantrenu a dibenzofuranu. - A selective whole cell optical biosensor for semiquantitative detection of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) with three chlorine substitutions is described. The biosensor is based on the formation of yellow meta ring fission products by silica entrapped cells. The reusable whole cell biosensor (WCB) was prepared by immobilizing cells of Pseudomonas sp. P2 in a silica matrix containing biphenyl 0.01 mg gminus 1 gel. Whole cell biosensors were exposed to 17 individual PCB congeners, or to the commercial PCB mixture Delor 103 (D103), toluene, xylene, naphthalene, 1-methylnaphthalene, anthracene, pyrene, phenanthrene, or dibenzofuran.
